- About Us
The Human Resource and Social Information Centre (Huresic) was established in 1995 by unemployed youth in the Tzaneen area. The organisation's aim is to address the socio economic development needs of people particularly children and youth in communities of Limpopo province.
The organisation comprises 52 full time staff, a governing board with 10 members, and council of youth leaders. The board takes decisions and approves programmes and budgets. The organisation runs seven major developmental programmes that address the needs of people in rural areas.
There are limited opportunities for skilled international volunteers to participate directly in Huresic's projects, according to the skill needs and requirements of individual projects. For those fortunate enough to have the opportunity, volunteer work is a once in a lifetime experience. You can apply for the volunteer programme through the contact form on the web site.
